Athletics Club Dinamo Zrinjevac and Zagreb School Sport Union organized a free athletics workshop last week. The participants were primary school children aged 7 to 10.
There were training sessions every day from 10 to 11 am and from 5 to 6 pm at the sports center Svetice. Two coaches, Srecko Opacic from Croatia and Viktor Bankin from Russia, worked every day with 76 kids.
-The children could try almost all athletic disciplines. Many parents called and asked if their child could keep on with the trainings and join the club. We will also organize free recreational activities for parents who wait for their children – Srecko Opacic said.
