Debt return to pensioners and reconstruction of shipbuilding are a few new provisions for which the government will single out 12 billion kn

Law according to which every pensioner will have the right to debt return will cost the government 2,3 billion kuna, while it will single out seven billion for shipbuilding.

Issuing out bonds on the home market will cost Sanader`s government around 2,5 billion kuna.

Hardest decision fro shipbuilding

The government decided to support the construction of Croatian shipyards in order for them to deal with the competition after entering the European Union.

And urgent privatisation is necessary and technological reconstruction of shipyards, while the programme for each individual shipyard is supposed to receive concord of the European Commission.

-State will take on a part of the debt of each shipyard and transform it into founding capital- pointed out Government Vice-President Damir Polancec.

Debt return to pensioners

According to Prime Minister Ivo Sanader`s words, money for this cause will be ensure from the sale of T-HT company shares, while the return will be given to those who receive family or limited pensions.
