Ina is trying to find gas suppliers. When and how much gas can be delivered from the EU and other countries is still unknown.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – At Thursday’s regular government session, Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader could only state that the situation was the same as yesterday. The Croatian oil company Ina is trying to find gas suppliers, but nobody as yet knows when and how much gas can be delivered from the European Union and other countries.
In the meantime, the Education Ministry has calculated the total gas expenditures in Croatian schools and the public will be informed about the possible postponement of the start of classes by a week on Saturday.
Sanader is the first citizen of Croatia who received his own Personal Identification Number as a citizen. Finance Minister Ivan Suker handed PINs to Sanader and other government members, stressing that it was the prime minister who gave the greatest endorsement to the project.
As regards the rest of the citizens, 800,000 of them will receive their own PINs by mail starting from Monday, after which the next delivery of 1,200,000 Personal Identification Numbers, that have yet to be printed, will follow.
