The government will give the 21 team members 60,000 kuna each, as will manager Lino Cervar and coach Slavko Goluza.
ZAGREB, CROATIA - The Croatian government will reward the Croatian handball team for winning the silver medal at the World Handball Championship.
According to the government decision, each of the 21 team members will get 60,000 kuna, as will
team manager Lino Cervar and coach Slavko Goluza.
Prime Minister: Silver medal shines too
Croatia’s Prime Minister Ivo Sanader once again congratulated Croatia’s handball players for winning the silver medal at the championship that took place in Croatia from January 16 through February 1.
- This is great success – being second in the world – in anything, including sports. The silver medal shines also – Sanader said.
The reward will be paid to the team from the government budget.
