The concert of TBF in Dubrovnik's club Revelin will be remembered for the incident when security guards threw out Slaven Tolja, the leader of art workshop Lazareti. He is one of the activists participating action against building apartments and a golf course on Srdj. TBF band members climbed the stage wearing T-shirts ''Srdj is ours''. The club managers obviously weren't pleased with that gesture as they related this act to Slaven Tolja. Furthermore, security threw Tolja out of the club. Due to the entire drama, Tolja turned to police but police didn't want to mark down his report.
The Green action had harsh reactions on the incident and they demand for investigation on police approach.
This incident shows that clientelistic stream of Dubrovnik's city authorities and local entrepreneurs entirely overtook the city. As media informs, the State Attorney Office initiated investigation over contractual lessee of the club Revelin since the club owner Frankovic owns much bigger space than the one offered for a lease - says in the report.
Dubrovnik obviously turned out to be a city where no person guarantees your safety if you suddenly decide to wear a T-shirt '' Srdj is ours''. This case of violence over Dubrovnik is spreading over all social areas. This is a process which turns this town to a hostage of corrupted political and financial power. Before they overtake Srdj, real estate agents have to come down and overrule the City. They overtook power of authorities, now they have to restrain civil disobedience. We expect more violence over the City to repeat by further activation of the Srdj project. So the Right to the city project and Green action in collaboration with other organizations will put an additional effort in creating national and international areas of activity against systematical destruction of Dubrovnik.
