The cause of death of a 46-year old woman from Split, for whose murder her 22-year-old son is the main suspected, is strangling done with bare hands.

In addition to the official report of the Split hospital pathologists, the police began criminal investigation against the 22-year odl suspect who was detained for questioning and ordered to remain in cusotody.
The suspect called the police on Sunday at 9.35 pm and said that he believes that he killed his mother. Death was confirmed by the County Police Department who arrived to the crime scene five minutes later.
