Technical Manager Gabor Ligeti has to report to investigative judge every eight days

Yesterday evening round 18:00 the technical manager of Karlovac Brewery Gabor Ligeti, the chief engineer of the Brewery Slaven Siladic , head of fermentation production department Marinko Kovacevic and head of industrial safety and environmental protection Zrinka Odrcic were brought to Karlovac County Court pre-triad , Alenka Laptalo, the judge and spokeswoman for Karlovac County Court said.

Their questioning was completed by 23:00. Jasminka Jerinic Musnjak, Karlovac County Court Investigative Judge rejected the proposal by District Attorney  that the suspects be kept in pre-trial, since there is no legal foundation for their detention, Alenka Laptalo informed.

There is no danger that evidence would be destroyed

Documentation was secured from Karlovac Brewery, and then on the spot inquiry was done, to secure all the evidence and facts were established linked to the leak of carbon dioxide.

The investigative judge estimated that there is no danger that the suspects would destroy the evidence or other traces important for the criminal proceedings or thwart in any way the process by influencing witnesses.

The investigative judge ordered precaution against Gabor Liget, since he is a foreign citizen, that is, he is forbidden to leave his dwelling and RC territory, and he has to report to her every eight months, and she also seized his passport.
