ZAGREB, CROATIA – President of the Croatian People`s Party (HNS) Radimir Cacic express regret on Saturday by the anti-government protest organised by Facebook group creators on Friday, in several Croatian cities. He says that the authorities should not fool themselves with the fact that only a few thousand people taking to the streets meant the action was devaluated.
- Facebookers are a structure of the population which expresses their dissatisfaction in another way,
not by taking to the streets – Cacic said while his party was distributing Christmas wheat to Zagreb citizens in Cvjetni Square.
Looking back on the current economy policy, he said that Croatian Prime Minister Sanader has absolutely lost his compass when it comes to economy.
Calling the Economic Council yet one of many Croatian fabrications, Cacic expressed regret that “colleagues of the Social Democratic Party were a fig leaf” for Sanader.
This council is trying to imitate, in a pathetic way, something that is an institution of quality in serious countries. There, this is a collection of experts who define tactics for a government with a strategy and which knows where it is heading, which is not the case in Croatia, HNS president Radimir Cacic assessed.
