In the construction of the bridge, to connect the Southeast part of Zagreb and the airport, more than EUR 40,000,000 has been invested.
Mayor Milan Bandic announced today after a City Council session that the Homeland Bridge was to open in mid March, as it is expected. He said that the bridge would connect the Southeast part of Zagreb with the airport and would be opened when everything was done and the usage licence issued.
He emphasised that bridge construction was a very demanding job due to its width of 40 m and it would be the biggest bridge in Zagreb ever. More than 40,000,000 EUR is invested in it.
