The survey of electricity production, supply and consumption was ordered by the City of Zagreb and will be conducted next month as well. The questionnaire will be answered by 3000 citizens of Zagreb till the end of March. The people were chosen at random from the phone book and the institutions in charge ask for cooperation and understanding in this matter.
The project is called “Energy balance of the city of Zagreb”. The aim is not only to collect data but also to put up the systems for measuring the gas emission from the energy sector. The survey consists of the questions about the energy consumption, the way of living, the housing, heating and cooling technologies, habits at home and habits connected with energy consumption.
The survey is being carried out by the energy Institute Hrvoje Pozar.
