MP Miroslav Rozic claims that Prime Minister Ivo Sanader is hiding from the public negative reports from the European Committee.
As Rozic of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) claims, the European Committee for Social Rights report is disastrous for Croatia because it is criticised for the non-harmonisation of Croatian laws to the European Social Charter of labour law.
- I did not see that report – said PM Sanader.
Rozic was persistent claiming that the government had received that report two months ago, and it was Sanader’s decision not to reveal it in public.
The prime minister replied that it was the HSP that had that report while in the government it was not seen by anyone, so he closed the discussion.
Sanader declined Pejo Trgovcic’s (HSP) accusation that the government was irresponsible towards Sisak citizens and not taking any actions to protect them from air pollution. Sanader said that the government had asked from the Croatian oil company Ina’s business management for a statement as soon as they investigated the air pollution.
He recalled that his government was the first one that started the process of refinery modernisation in Sisak. The answer did not satisfy Trgovcic so he replied that, if nothing were done, people would die in Sisak.
