I choose the Earth, I cycle! 500 cyclists in ''Crtical mass'' action

At least 500 people on their bikes gathered on Francuska Republika Square to take part in the action “Zemljubiram, pedaliram”(I choose the Earth, I cycle!). The action was organized celebrating the Earth Day. They want to point out how healthy and eco-friendly the bike transport is. The organizers were the people from the Cyclists’ Union. They wish to have the city where the cyclists and the pedestrians will be natural allies and live without disputes. One of the reasons could be the paths for cyclists that have been put recently in Savska Street without any plans and strategies.

The happy group of people riding their bikes stretched from FrancuskaRepublika Square to the Sava River. They were equipped with whistles and instruments and their last stop was Bundek Lake where the party was held. The main aim was to show that the planet and the city of Zagreb are being loved by cycling.
