I Live For The Day We Will Be Safe In Zagreb

We will all have to raise awareness to the next level and we all have to be more responsible – Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic said.

ZAGREB, CROATIA – Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic was surprised by the news that Ivana Hodak, daughter of famous Zagreb attorney Zvonimir Hodak, was killed today. He announced that he would contact his colleague of the Zagreb Police Department once he gets to his office, to see what actually happened.

- We will all have to raise awareness to the next level and we all have to be more responsible – Bandic said, repeating that safety was rocked in Zagreb. Also, the mayor stressed that he lives for the day when we will again be able to feel safe in the streets of Zagreb.

In just several hours apart, two horrible murders and an attempted suicide occurred in Zagreb. This morning, at 7:05 hours 17-year-old girl N.D. was killed, while only four hours later, 26-year-old Ivana Hodak was shot in the head twice.
