When they were leaving the match against Zagreb, Dinamo players Luis Ibanez and Nikola Pokrivac were attacked by a group of so-called Dinamo fans. It is not clear if there was a physical contact or not because their stories differ. The incident happened in Zvonimirovastreet near Maksimir Stadium. Ibanez stopped at the crossroads because of the red light driving his BMW. There were Pokrivac and his girlfriend in the car.

The new horror by hooligans

- The light was red and Ibanez stopped. There was a group of about 50 people at the tram station. They started yelling at us and Luco opened the window because we didn’t understand them. One of them came and started offending us. Then one of them ran out of the crowd and hit Luco through the open window. He hit the car with his leg and damaged the rearview window. After that two of them ran towards our car and started hitting but then luckily the light turned into green and we went on. In any case, that was not a pleasant experience – Nikola Pokrivac reported at the official Dinamo website.

Ibanez was not so dramatic

- There were some fools yelling at us. They tried to break my rearview window but they didn’t succeed because it closed automatically. I went mad, stepped out of the car, but they ran away and we went on. I have never had such an experience, but what can you do? There is always chance to come across some fools – Ibanez said.

So, if the victim of this assault was Luco, the player who was the best in previous season, the one who got most of applause because he had always played with his full heart, we have to ask ourselves who the next victim is. There is nothing sacred for these hooligans except themselves. Dinamo? No way. They did more harm than anyone. They did more harm than Hajduk fans or more harm than Lyon by heavy defeat. And they are proud of doing harm. Whatever happened, hitting Ibanez or not, which is not pleasant at all, was the new horror in their action.

Fans will deny…

They will then claim that it wasn’t them. They will claim they didn’t write the graffiti to SandaMamic and they will say that they are not the ones who light fires and they are not the ones who offend from the stadium seats. They will claim that they didn’t attack ZoranMamic in the night club. All these things were done by someone else, not so-called Dinamo fans themselves. This is not the first time they do it. And it all happens in so-called legal state which does everything to find the offenders in the stadiums and now the offenders in the streets.
