Ingrid Anticevic Again Head Of Zadar SDP

Party members believe there would be greater damage without her in SDP, so they unanimously supported her comeback.

All Social-Democratic Party (SDP) Committee members of the Zadar branch unanimously supported the candidacy of Ingrid Anticevic-Marinovic for the president of the SDP City Committee in Zadar.

Namely, party members believe she was not responsible everything all she was accused of and seeing how it turned out the charges were not true, Anticevic accepted the candidacy for the new old president.

According to the party Statute, city committees cannot nominate nor disengage their presidents, the party convention does that, the Jutarnji list daily writes.

The citizens also disagree with the withdrawal of Anticevic

“From everyday contact with the citizens, especially our voters, we realised they disagree with the withdrawal of Ingrid Anticevic-Marinovic form the political scene because they consider her to be an honest politician. People are simply not used to politicians making ethical moves, risking their political career”, said SDP member Omerka Saric, who considers it would be even more damaging for the party if Ingrid had not decided to return to the political life.

But, the most important thing for Ingrid Anticevic-Marinovic is for her party to win at the election, even if she does not obtain any function.
