The construction works at Zrtava fasizma Square 1, which are financed by a company called Plavi trg d.o.o. whose members are Alica and Nikola Petrac, didn’t stop in spite of being banned by the building inspection.
Vecernji list newspaper has already written about the case. The tenants claim that the investors haven’t got a building permit which is needed for the works. And they are right according to the Ministry of Construction.
They built the ceiling
- The inspection examined the location and found out that the investors are building without the necessary permits. They closed down the building site and issued a document about a removal – the message from the Ministry says.
Nevertheless, this hasn’t prevented the investors to go on with their works. The place once belonged to the firm Antilopa. The neighbors are worried that their windows will be closed. The ceiling has already been built.
- The works started a month ago. They stopped for a while during Christmas holidays but they continued in spite of banning. Now they are working indoors – one of the neighbors is annoyed.
We asked the building inspection what they are going to do with it because it is obvious that investors ignore all their decisions.
- The building inspection is going to file a charge of building without necessary documentation and a charge of continuing the works after the inspection banned them.
- A fine will be decided by the court. The inspection will continue monitoring the building site – these are the only measures that we can take.
The owners don’t answer the calls
Although the members of Plavi trg d.o.o. are Hrvoje Petrac’s wife and his son, the person in charge of the company is Tin Cesmadziski.
We couldn’t reach him in spite of several phone calls. We tried to contact Nikola Petrac as well, but we couldn’t reach him either.
