SECRET TELEPHONE CALL

NOVEMBER 21 2008 08:10h

Intelligence Knew Hodak Murder Was In Store

Text

Foreign intelligence services provided the Croatian police with a tape of a conversation in which Amsterdam announces big.

After the police have been wandering for so long in the dark, recordings of a telephone call surfaced up, in which Sreten Jocic aka. Joca Amsterdam says “something big was in store for Zagreb, the whole of Europe would talk about”. Thus, these tapes are possible new evidence for the murders of Ivana Hodak and Nacional weekly co-founder Ivo Pukanic, which would help the police find the perpetrator.

“Something big will happen in Zagreb in two weeks”

A part of the conversation, which the Croatian police posses with, as reported by the Jutarnji list daily, shows that Joca Amsterdam knew about the murder of Ivana Hodak.

“Something big will happen in Zagreb in two weeks, something the whole of Europe will talk about”- Joca Amsterdam said. Afterwards, Ivana Hodak was murdered on October 6 in downtown Zagreb.

It is clear to see that Amsterdam could not predict something like murder, or know the precise day of the execution if he had not taken part in it somehow.

Knew, but kept it secret

After the murder of Ivana Hodak, the murder of Ivo Pukanic followed, and justified suspicions were started that these two assassinations were connected. Although the common denominator was hard to find, clear indicators which do connect them are hiding behind the name Joca Amsterdam, i.e. a close associate of his who was clearly more forwarded into the murder plans.

The other linking factor is the weapon, i.e. guns, which were identical in attempted murder of Ivo Pukanic and the murder of Ivana Hodak, according to the Jutarnji list daily.

In the end, a question arises, why did foreign intelligence services, which had the tapes of the conversation revealing that “something bug the whole of Europe will talk about” was in store, not forward the information earlier and warn the Croatian police?
