Interceptors Charged 500,000 Kuna Fines

Thanks to the too fast drivers, who were caught by police interceptors, the state budget gets 500,000 kuna each month.

Three police interceptors, which patrol in Zagreb and the region 24 hours a day, due to speed driving fine almost 1,000 drivers. Thanks to them, the state budget is bigger by 500,000 kuna each month.

The highest speed for which a driver was caught was 232 km/h, for now, and he was caught on the motorway Krapina-Zapresic last year. Almost 50 fines are written because of talking on the mobile phone while driving, ‘Jutarnji list’ reports.
