Prime minister said it'd be a good thing for Milanović to read the Accord, but also a Statute on the Parliament acitivites
President of HDZ and the Croatian Government Jadranka Kosor today, during a celebration of the 20th anniversary of HDZ Sisak announced that the Government will propose an official ratification of the Arbitrage Accord concluded with Slovenia to the Parliament, expressing her own accords that the Parliament will put support the said Accord simply because it's a good thing for Croatia.
Prime minister refused to comment SDP president Zoran Milanović's statement that the Parliamentary session shouldn't be convened regarding the issue od ratification of the Accord concluded with Slovenia. She ascerted that Milanović is telling lies about the Accord as well as her own set of liabilities, but she also confirmed it's his lawful right to do so. - He'll soon have to take the stand on whether to go for the Accord ratification or against it, but it's clearly not my problem, it's more of his problem or not, depending on how he interprets it - said Kosor.
- Many people come to the Government. It'd be completely wrong to jump to conclusions -
She invited Milanović - that it'd be clearly a good thing for him to read the Accord, for if he does, among other things he'll learn the all of the previously agreed process deadlines as much as those concerning the selection of the arbitrage judges that should be met by the time Croatia signs an Accord concerning the European Union accession. -
She emphasized that was what Croatia really had in mind in the first place - to separate the negations closure from the final solution to the boarder problem. She instructed Milanović to read the Manual on the functioning of the Parliament, for only then, Kosor said, he'd learn that the Parliamentary session cannot be convened by the Government president but the president of the Parliament.
Questioned about whether the minister of finance and a HDZ vice-president Ivan Šuker will be either the new Government vice-president or the minister of economy, considering the fact he attended together with Kosor the celebration in Sisak, she responded that it would completely wrong to jump to conclusions on the new minister of economy. She announced that the decision on the new vice-president of the Government and the minister of economy will be announced the next week.
She refused to comment on whether the former minister Borislav Škegro, whom she received only yesterday for a conversation in the Government, would be the new vice-president of the Government or the minister of economy - Many people come to the Government. It'd be completely wrong to jump to conclusions - she said. Prime minister Jadranka Kosor announced a public clarification of the contract concluded between INA and MOL.
