The workers of Jadrankamen Company owned by Bruno Oresar are in protest again. They marched on Tuesday across Pucisce on the island of Brac in order to indicate the unsustainable situation in the firm and to oppose to the announced notice of dismissal. It was planned to dismiss 83 employees out of 280 and it will be decided about another 25. Around 50 workers will be retired soon and they arranged the severance pays.
The union workers emphasized that the debts of Jadrankamen are around 300 million HRK. They are disappointed with the new management; they are against selling the assets and bankruptcy. They claim that the new administration members are wasteful, have high wages, numerous benefits and luxury cars.
