Ivo Josipovic‘s campaign fundins come from the party, Dioki Business School and individuals.
SDP's presidential candidate, Ivo Josipovic collected a total of 2.86 million kunaS for the campaign, most of which (1.62 million kunas) was donated by his party, said in an interim report which will now be sent to the State Election Commission.
Financial Director of Josipovic’s campaign, Stefanija Balog, announced at a press conference that this financial report was compiled by an independent audit house which controlled every dollar, every incoming and outgoing invoice.
- The end result must be a positive zero, because they cannot hide a one single kuna - she said, noting that Josipović, hiring an independent audit to monitor campaign, went ahead of the law guidelines that specify that campaign cannot be financed by foreign persons or state institutions.
According to the report, Josipović has collected a total of 2,866,648 kuna, of which 1,620,000 was donated by the SDP, 272,500 kunas by THE domestic companies, and individuals donated a total of 256,147 kunas.
