In his address to the judges expressing his utter respect among other things Karadžić was citing Kafka and a trial of chief of Kominterna
Former leader of the Bosnian Serbs Radovan Karadžić accused of a Bosnia and Herzegovina genocide announced his decision of not appearing at the beginning of his own trial appointed for Monday 26th.
- I report that my defence is not ready for the beginning of the trial, initially appointed for October 26th and in a such course of events I simply will not appear before the tribunal on that very day - as stated in the report published last Thursday morning, submitted by Karadžić to the judical assembly a day earlier.
In his address Karadžić complains about the fact that the whole set of judical sketches submitted on his behalf in written form from the moment of apprehension, or in other words nearly a thousand of different addresses is now turning against him and that he simply hasn't got enough time to prepare himself for the beginning of the - trial that will determine future relations of the people within the region for at least another century and perhaps even forever. -
In his address to the judges he expresses the - utter respect - quoting in addition Kafka and the trial to the head of Kominterna Gerogi Dimitrov. Karadžić is being accused in 11 articles for war crimes and the crimes against humanity, including two articles regarding a genocide acomplished during the war in Bosnia, 1992-95.
