The three other defendants in the case - Josip Kuzmanic, Berislav Basic and Ivica Mladineo - were given suspended sentences of six months with two years' probation, court spokeswoman Vedrana Simundza Nikolic said.
Under the ruling, Konstruktor has to pay the state HRK 2,093,140 of which the defendants were accused of having defrauded it during the company's ownership transformation.
The four accused were indicted in November 2010 after a six-year investigation. (Hina)
