Dale and Elke Lapthorne have visited the Boninovo cove once again, where Britt`s body was found, and laid flowers in the sea.
DUBROVNIK, CROATIA – Parents of Britt Lapthorne, Australian backpacker whose body was found in Dubrovnik, visited the Boninovo Cove on Wednesday morning and laid some flowers into the sea, Dubrovniknet writes.
Dale and Elke arrived in Dubrovnik last weeked and their intention was to see all the places Britt went to during her travels in Croatia.
In two days, Britt`s parents spoke with the Croatian police twice. Dubrovnik-Neretva Police Department chief confirmed that the Croatian police continued the investigation of their daughter`s death, in co-operation with Interpol and the Australian Federal police.
Furthermore, Dale and Elke saw the last image ever recorded of their daughter before she went missing, the Herald Sun writes. The parents recognised Britt in the background of an image from the Fuego night club, where she was last seen, with some 20 people around her.
After a long period, the autopsy ended in Australia, which did not determine the case of her death. However, Dale said that the autopsy report was detailed and will help with the inquest.
