The Croatian Supreme Court will discuss the case of members of Military Police convicted of crimes against civilians in Lora military base.
Eleven months ago the Split County Court sentenced eight military policemen to six to eight years in prison for crimes against civilians in the Lora military base in 1992.
After the verdict, the lawyers lodged a plea at the Supreme Court which will decide on the matter today, Dnevnik.hr reports.
In 2002, the Supreme Court overturned a ruling of the County Court when suspects were acquitted and demanded a retrial before a changed panel of judges.
