Sociologist and therapist Anita Cudina says the Split violator was under the influence of the PCP drug when he threw a baby on the floor.
SPLIT, CROATIA – Split citizen Antonio H. who grabbed a 2-month-old baby last Saturday in Split from a passer-by`s pram and threw the child on the floor, was probably under the influence of Phenecyclidine, known as angel dust, sociologist and therapist Anita Cudina believes, the Slobodna Dalmacija daily writes.
She reminds that the Institute of Addictive Illnesses has warned that the drug appeared on the Split market ten years ago.
Cudina warns that there is no division to light and heavy drugs, all are dangerous. She adds that the violator was probably under the influence of angel dust during his rampage in Split and was experiencing visual hallucinations.
- There are cases in Croatia when a user committed serious crimes under the influence of PCP, while a minor killed his colleague in Sibenik over ten years ago - Anita Cudina told the Slobodna Dalmacija paper.
She pointed out that in most cases, parents of youth that uses marijuana or other light drugs do not report violence.
She reminds that the case of Antonio H. was just the same, as he once grabbed his sister by the hair and pulled her across chips of a glass he had broken.
