Waiting for the ICTY's sentence for disclosing a witness, journalist Margetic decided on another hunger strike until freedom or death.
Journalist Domagoj Margetic has been charged with revealing a protected witness, i.e. stating that Croatian President Stjepan Mesic was a protected witness in the trial of General Tihomir Blaskic.
Margetic is facing a penalty of up to six months in prison and a fine of 50,000 euros that was demanded by the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Prosecution because of contempt of court, the Jutarnji list daily writes.
Margetic is convinced of his innocence and has again decided to start a hunger strike until his acquittal or death, he said.
