Mesic: I Know Nothing About Zagorec Investigation

President Mesic commented on cases when he was starting investigations of war profiteers, but claims that he knows nothing about Zagorec.

"I have started investigations against those who were making a profit while the Croatian people bled, defending every foot of this land," said President Mesic.

When asked if authorities would do their job after this matter was brought up, he added that he could not yet comment.

"The beginning is promising something, but we will see how much of it there will be," said Mesic.

When asked if the case with general Zagorec would set another issue in motion, Mesic replied that it could come to that.
