Brancek (Ivan Jarnjak`s nick-name) would surely send me a note if there was a sitting, wondered Ferencak.
-No, there is no meeting today, nor was it appointed. If it was appointed, I would have known, I am a Board member- said a Croatian People`s Party member of the National Security Board, Srecko Ferencak.
Namely, his perplexity, as well as the media’s which cover the work of parliamentary boards, were surprised by the news that a sitting of the National Security Board would be held today. The same sitting was announced, after a mutual meeting of President Stjepan Mesic and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, with the topic of the Security Intelligence Agency (SOA) (non)monitoring of the two members of parliament – Vesna Skare-Ozbolt and Milanka Opacic.
