Tomislav Jakic, the advisor for foreign affairs to President Stjepan Mesic, is on a two-days working visit to Berlin.
Jakic talked to experts for Euroepan and regional issues at the office of the federal president, the Chancellor’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign affairs, the Office of the President of the Republic said in a statement.
The participants expressed their belief that Croatia would be able to finish the negotiations on entering the EU successfully, without any special problems or difficulties.
They talked about the situation in the region, and it was emphasised that German carefully followed the final settlement on the status of Kosovo as well as the development of the situation in Serbia.
They also talked about Bosnia-Herzegovina in the context that the region continued on its way to normalisation and full stabilisation.
