Upon being arrested, Zeljko Milovanovic told the officers: `You do your job, I`ll do mine`.
What led the police to Zeljko Milovanovic (43), a suspect for installing a bomb that killed Nacional weekly co-founder Ivo Pukanic (47) and the paper`s marketing director Niko Franjic (37), was his reckless action of turning on an old mobile phone, Belgrade Press writes.
The police monitored the suspect born in Beli Manastir, who is a citizen of Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia, and arrested him, because they were convinced he was the man they were looking for.
It is also stated that Zeljko Milovanovic aka. Gavro has a Glock gun on his person during the arrest, along with a Serbian ID to the name of Dragan Milovanovic, a fake Slovenian passport to the name of Miroslav Sipak, and a fake driver`s license from the Slovak Republic.
Gavro surrendered calmly, denied involvement
Milovanovic surrendered calmly to the police, with just a comment:
- You do your job, I`ll do mine – according to the PressOnline daily.
The paper also informs that Gavro denied being involved in the cruel crime against the Croatian media mogul. Police will keep Milovanovic in custody for 48 hours, after which Gavro will face investigative judge of the Special Court Aleksandar Vujicic, Belgrade-based Kurir also writes.
Milovanovic`s arrest began at 20 hours and culminated at 22 hours, took place in front of his rented apartment at 19 Dunavski kej, in Dorcol.

It is also pointed out that two “scorpios” were found in a search, along with six silencers, six guns, 500 bullets, locators and the most up to date wiretapping equipment, several mobile phones and a credit card.
Serbian police assumes that suspect Gavro, in the style of a real professional hit man, frequently changed his place of residence, from BH, the Bosnian Serb entity of Republika Srpska, Serbia to Croatia.
Zeljko Milovanovic is former member of the Unit for Special Operations, who is charged with war crimes and several other crimes in Serbia.
