Protesting students welcomed Education Minister and started shouting `Resignation, resignation!`. The confused minister joined them.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – Protesting students of the Zagreb Faculty of Philosophy “jumped” Education Minister Dragan Primorac in front of Radio 101 offices in Zagreb on Wednesday, as he took part in a show there, the Jutarnji list paper writes.
First, they wanted the minister to sign a petition for free high education, which he did in the end, but added the words “with modifications” to his signature. This angered the students and they started shouting at him: “Resignation, resignation!”. Visibly confused, Minster Primorac tried to calm things down and talk to the students who turned him down.
- We have been waiting for 30 days and you want to talk now. Resignation, resignation! – they shouted.
The minister started blushing and wanted to find a way out of the awkward situation. He headed out for his car, but suddenly went back towards the students and joined them in their cheers: “Resignation, resignation!”. Cunning Primorac absolutely amazed the students with this move.
- This is absurd and bizarre. We cannot believe this happened – they said.
