Hungary's MOL and Germany's E-ON Ruhrgas established a joint supply system to support Croatia during the gas crisis.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – Hungary’s MOL and Germany’s E-ON Ruhrgas have established a joint supply system to support Croatia during the gas crisis. Starting as soon as Saturday, Croatia will be receiving a million cubic metres of gas a day via the Austrian gas hub in Baumgarten, the two companies have said.
The delivery of gas began at 6am on Saturday from the existing portfolios of MOL and E-ON Ruhrgas.
According to data from the Rogatec entry gauging station on the Croatian-Slovene border, 40,000 cubic metres of natural gas have been pumping into the Croatian transport system since 6am. This is an intervention import which will last for three days.
But despite this fact, the Croatian Plinacro gas company has said that the 5th and 6th stages of gas shortage was introduced at 8am for certain users.
The import of natural gas from Russia into Croatia’s transport system is still completely cut off, Plinacro said this morning.
