The audience from Zagreb was completely amazed and thrilled by one of the performances showed in the first Eurokaz festival in the middle of the 80s. It was the performance called “Rosas danst Rosas, Bartok” made by the Belgian author, the baroness Anna Teresa De Keersmaeker. She was the owner of the dance studio Rosas founded in 1983. It was a very exciting new way of postmodern dancing show and it showed a completely new concept which made Rosas the best known European dance group. They performed on Tuesday evening in the Museum of modern art. The performance was called “It Once” because it united body, sound, text and space…There were Croatian and Slovenian artists in the performance, too.
