Murdered Lucijan's Family Sues Ana Magas

Andrej Korljan, lawyer of the Magas family, has confirmed that Ana Magas is being sued for 1.711 million kunas.

The family of the murdered Lucijan has started legal proceedings against his spouse for non-material damage and mental anguish caused by the loss of a loved one.

- Our claim for damages was not resolved by the court in the course of the first trial of Ana Magas, but we were told to start a lawsuit, which we have done – said the family's lawyer Andrej Korijan.

However, Korijan did not wish to explain why they were asking the exact amount of 1.711 million kunas from Ana Magas.

As Jutarnji list reminds, in the second trial, Ana Magas was sentenced to eight years in prison for murdering her husband Lucijan in Zadar, but the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia reduced her sentence to five years.
