ON BANDIĆ'S PROPHECIES

Right after my completion of a "State within a state" in Novi Zagreb, I can lay down and die
- Three things determined my entire life, and I've already acomplished two of them. First one came to my mind right after I suffered an eight-day coma, and my serious illness at the time, in other words my decision to establish a foundation that would help treating other people who had found themselves in the same situation - told Zagreb mayor Milan Bandić at the press conference in the occasion of Halid Bešlić's Arena concert.
Second thing would be, added mayor, a realization of Zagrepčanka in Heinzelova street, which is the main reason why even today many people are giving me a hard time.
- That's the project I'm truly proud of. Those who are constantly speaking of honesty, giving me a hard time, I dare them to prove it by their honest actions if they really want to show off, and I say to them to put all those futile slogans aside. I did what I had to do, by administering all those millions of kunas that the city normally wouldn't have if the circumstances were any different - concluded Bandić.
Third thing that still remains to be done, said the mayor, is to initiate a 'State within a state', in other words 70 hectars long park, which would include houses from all Croatian regions.
- After I see to it, I can only lay down and die. You see, not only my vision reaches Marija Bistrica, but far beyond that - asserted Bandić, commeting that way latest Josipović's assertions on Bandić's preisdential efforts. Asked for a comment on Bandić's possible candidacy presidential candidate Josipović told that Bandić's visions would include Sljeme area, but wouldn't reach farther than that.
