On the 18th of May the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service of Zadar went through the most difficult rescue action of the year 2012. Two young U.S. citizens, were rock climbing at Anica kuk, in the National park Paklenica.
Unfortunately, something went wrong as they both fell down and one young man passed away. The other one has survived heavy injuries.
This Monday, May, 28th delegation of the U.S. special unit together with the father of survived Javor Alex came to the station of HGSS Zadar. They wanted to express their gratitude to entire team and service in person.
HGSS team Zadar received a plaque from the US special unit led by the commander Jeremy J. Schroeder.
