If you are an economist, lawyer, florist, gardener o hairdresser, you are not on the wish list of employers of Medimurje. This is a result of a survey implemented by Cakovec's branch of HZZ (the Croatian Employment service). HZZ made a regular annual research among 524 employers. They gathered information about employments, difficulties while finding employees, plans and needs for new workers.
Employers still hire people on determined period of time, and there is a very small number of part-time job offers. The biggest chance for finding job still have highly educated and qualified workers of metal industry and half-qualified and qualified workers of textile industry. Unlike last couple of years, there is a small number of planned needs in construction work business.
When talking about difficulties while finding workers, employers pointed out a lack of candidates of desired profession , lack of work experience and lack of interest among potential workers. Employers have difficulties finding a sufficient number of machinists, masons, locksmiths and carpenters. They announced they will start a search for workers of production line, salesmen, locksmiths, sewers and truck drivers.
HZZ expects that future needs for employees will be between number 3500 and 4000. Realization of planned employments will depend on global economy business and expected growth of employment rate in the second half of the year. Survey marked a soft announcement of employment growth by the end of 2012 compared to the last year.
- Every indicator gives a promise that economy situation will stabilize by the end of 2012 as the total number of employments among employers of Medimurje will start to grow - HZZ informs.
