The idea is to have the website where visitors can view products in 3D during their virtual visit to the mall.
Zagreb Company Trillenium presented the project of online 3D shopping mall which, at 180 thousand square meters of virtual space, plans to offer products from around 90 domestic and foreign companies from 25 sectors and whose trial should begin November 2.
The project is worth one million Euros, and the basic idea is to have an online virtual shopping mall where customers will have a three-dimensional view of products and be able buy goods using credit cards or other forms of payment.
Besides shopping, the trade center will offer entertainment, social and business facilities and everything else that goes with similar centers in the real world, the project manager and Trillenium director, Tomica Radosevic said at Thursday's press conference.
Except in Zagreb, the plan is to create similar centers in Split, Rijeka and Osijek
Describing the project unique in the world, his co-investor and the Trillenium co-owner Hrvoje Prpic said that he expects the annual turnover of 100 million. In the beginning, they do not expect to make huge profits because they are using Croatia as a test market only. They plan to take the project outside the country and use it in the market of the United States, Germany, Spain and other countries.
Believing in innovation and quality solutions based on the latest technologies, Prpic explained that the rent space will be available in their online 3D shopping center and that real shop assistant, who will assist customers in selecting and buying, will be behind the virtual character.
He also said that the owners will select the company-store-brands and that they must be leaders in the market (or at least in the top three places)
Except in Zagreb, the plan is to create a similar center in Split, Rijeka and Osijek.
