The supervision carried out in secret services indicate that the suspicions of the three MPs were unfounded.
Milanka Opacic, Vesna Skare-Ozbolt and Djurdja Aldesic, MPs who publicly voiced their suspicions, were not being monitored by secret services. This is the conclusion of the National Security Council Bureau that conducted supervision of secret services as requested by President Stjepan Mesic.
During the supervision of the intelligence services, it was established that no telephone call was made to Adlesic’s cousin allegedly offering EUR500 for any kind of compromising information about the politician.
The supervision indicated that the document Opacic had shown was in fact an anonymous citizens’ petition against Zvonimir Sostar that had been sent to police and the State Proseucution last year.
The National Security Council Bureau also dismissed suspicions by Vesna Skare-Ozbolt, Jutarnji list reports.
