Out of the total number of tourists, mostly guests from Germany, USA, Japan, Italy and France visited the Croatian capital.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – In 2008, Zagreb was visited by 602,381 tourists from January until November, who recorded over a million overnight stays. To be precise, 1,074,590, which a six percent more in arrivals, compared to the same period last year, and four percent more in overnight stays, Zagreb Tourist Board announced.
Out of the total number of tourists, 444,526 were foreigners who recorded 777,501 overnight stays, thus recording six percent more arrivals and three percent more overnight stays than last year.
Out of the total number of tourists, mostly guests from Germany, USA, Japan, Italy and France visited the Croatian capital. As far as overnight stays go, the first five positions are occupied by guests from Germany, USA, Italy, UK and France.
According to the figures of Zagreb Tourist Board, there were two percent more arrivals and almost four percent more of overnight stays than in November 2008, while out of the total number of visitors, nearly 28,000 were foreigners, who recorded over 55,000 overnight stays.
The Zagreb Tourist Board expressed satisfaction over the results.
