DALE LAPTHORNE:

Party of Britt’s Body Are Still on Bottom of Sea

Text

Dale Lapthorne told us he is waiting for Dubrovnik police to complete their investigation, and then return to Croatia do conduct his own.

ZAGREB, CROATIA – The family of Australian backpacker Britt Lapthorne, whose body was found in the sea in Dubrovnik 18 days after she disappeared, is eagerly awaiting for the Dubrovnik police, which they hold incompetent, to complete their investigation so they could come back to Croatia and conduct their own underwater investigation.

Britt’s father, Dale, this weekend disclosed details of an autopsy report, which had been carried out in Australia at the end of last year, and which has been kept secret so far.-.-DailyTelegraph-.-

‘We brought only 20 kilograms of Britt’s body to Australia”

After an insight into the autopsy, Dale Lapthorne believes that his daughter’s body was thrown into the sea weighed down, just a couple of hours after she went missing from the Fuego night club. We spoke with Dale Lapthorne, who said that he thinks that he has assembled the puzzle of the mysterious death of his daughter.

We have assembled all the information so far and put together a scenario. I think that now we know what happened to Britt in Croatia. But that is just a theory. The last firm evidence is the autopsy findings. If you only knew the details of the autopsy report, you would ask yourselves, among other things, how is it possible for a body to lay on the bottom of the sea for 18 days. We only brought back to Australia 20 kilograms of remains of Britt’s body and alive, she weighed 50 kilograms. I am certain that a big part of her body is somewhere on the bottom of the sea. I am 80 percent convinced of the scenario that somebody threw Britt’s body in the sea, weighed down, so it would not float, Dale Lapthorne told us. Since the beginning of the investigation of his daughter’s death, he has been criticising Dubrovnik police for being unprofessional and negligent.

Dubrovnik police trying to protect its tourism?

A gang and policemen-kidnappers

Australian Channel 7 made a documentary about the disappearance of Britt Lapthorne early this year. In it, the reporter states suspicions that the kidnappers were members of the Dubrovnik police. But the Dubrovnik police immediately denied any involvement in the disappearance of the young Australian, stressing that they were no kidnappers or gang leaders, but inspectors who investigated the circumstances of the alleged kidnapping attempt of a girl named Amber, who also appeared in the Channel 7 show.

We contacted Dubrovnik police in search for more detailed information regarding the criminal investigation which is still underway. But the local police spokeswoman, Marija Gjenero, briefly said she had no comment on the most recent revelation by the Lapthorne family, adding that “the investigation is underway” and all the necessary probes are being carried out.

We have been getting the same report by the Dubrovnik police this entire time. They say the investigation is underway. The fact that they found no evidence pointing to an accidental death which open suspicions on the possibility of murder, that is really shameful. They obviously think that by doing nothing they are protecting their tourism. But they should know that tourists coming to Dubrovnik do not feel safe any more, and that is because of the police sloppiness, because it looks like they have no control over the area. I think it would have been much better for tourism had they solved the case, Dale Lapthorne told us.

In the end he said he had to go back to Croatia, but only when the local police complete their investigation. He will then meet a team of investigators who will again search the Dubrovnik sea with a fine-tooth comb.
