Peasants of Slavonia and Baranja are getting prepared for demonstrations unless they don't receive their atonements until Tuesday. The secretary of Peasants' association of Slavonia and Baranja Stanko Zdravcevic claims they have been deceived  for three weeks and they can't wait no more.

- We want to believe our demands will be fulfilled. Otherwise, we will all travel to Zagreb next week and block every street around offices of the Ministry of finance and the Ministry of agriculture. As we heard the Ministry of finance is blocking our money - said Zdravcevic.

The Ministry claims all atonements have been paid, and Zdravcevic  said that around 35 to 40 percent of peasants are waiting for their money that should be around 350 million HRK.

- We don't understand why do they lie to us. We want truth to be told. Even if there is no money, they should warn us so and tell us to be patient. It is an honest and sincere gesture, and not such way of deceiving people - said Zdravcevic.

Meeting of peasants in Baranja's settlement Ceminac gathered a small group of people, but they claim there will be more of them to attend the protest in Zagreb.
