PHOTO: A nicer side of HDZ – Lana Obad leads the campaign of Drago Caleta

In the premises of Zagreb HDZ doctor Drago Caleta announces his candidature for the president of HDZ of Zagreb. However, the attention of the photographers could be stolen by his PR during the press conference.

The invitation for the event was sent to the media by Lana Obad, Miss Universe Croatia in the year 2010. The pretty master of economics doesn’t do this job as her profession. Lana has been the member of HDZ since she was 18 years old and she is not only a pretty face within the party.

- I have taken part in the activities of the youth, the women association Katarina Zrinska and in the senior club. I am amember of the city board of HDZ. My basic branch is HDZ Sesvete where Caleta is from as well. We all support him in this race for the president of Zagreb HDZ. He is primarily a good man, very honest and competent in his job – Lana said.

After she explained the connection with Caleta, we asked about the cause of joining HDZ.

-  My parents have brought me up to believe in family and church and HDZ is a party which fights for such democratic values. But the main reason is the first Croatian president Franjo Tudjman whom I liked very much – Lana Obad said. As we have already mentioned, she is the main medium to get more attention on Caleta when compared to other candidates.
