ZAGREB, CROATIA – Although the streets of Zagreb have still not been covered with white, shiny snow, countdown to the moment once Santa Clause pops out of the chimney and leaves a bunch of presents underneath the Christmas tree is the most important part of childhood for kids.
However, December is special for adults as well, who are happy to reminisce the times when they
believed in fairytales and Christmas magic. Now, their thoughts are somewhere else: how to fill the holiday menu and sense peace during the holidays.
Although everyone advocates saving money, Zagreb citizens found it hard to resist their wonderful city, which is in full swing during the Advent season. Many Christmas lights, stands with presents, stage in the city`s main square, the tent with mulled wine are just a part of the holiday offer, and each person can find something for themselves.
If you follow the link, you can see what holiday season in the streets of Zagreb looks like, where kids enjoy performances of colourful clowns, and youth keeps warm with mulled wine, while pensioners enjoy in front of the stage: Christmas In Zagreb, Trimmings And Sausages.
