ZAGREB’S CITIZENS PROTEST
OCTOBER 7 2008 19:13h
Security was seriously shaken in Zagreb, and all of Croatia, because of which citizens attended a peaceful protest.
The brutal liquidation on the streets of Zagreb shook all of Croatia. The murder of Ivana Hodak is only one in a series, but the first that prompted the Cabinet to act.
Security was seriously shaken in Zagreb, and all of Croatia, because of which citizens decided to seek better times for themselves, and attended peaceful protests around the world.
Irena Zalac lit the first candle at Zagreb’s Cvjetni Square, and she considers that there is an increasing number of unhappy citizens whose attention was grabbed by the pamphlet that had a message written in it. The message read “One Family”, which is made up from premier Ivo Sanader, the owner of Nacional Ivo Pukanic, the president Stjepan Mesic, Hrvoje Petrac, mayor Milan Bandic, his right hand Slobodan Ljubicic and the extradited general Vladimir Zagorec.
One of the members of the “family”, Zagreb’s mayor Milan Bandic, was himself at Cvjetni Square in order to voice his condolence to the families that suffered in the last wave of crime.
