Protesting students at a Zagreb faculty cheered on students for whom the final deadline to hand in their work has come.

ZAGREB, CROATIA - Even though they insinuated that they were unethical and unreal, students from Zagreb’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences showed their real and colleague side.

Ivana Magdić-.--.-We heard cheering from one side of the faculty and went towards the noise. We found twenty or so protesting students cheering on four colleagues who, despite the blockade, had an arrangement with a professor. Allegedly, today was the last deadline to hand in their seminars.

Take a look at the supporting students in the photo gallery: Faculty Students Show Support to Colleagues.

The students gathered and supported the professor and girls who did not want to reveal their identity, or the subject in question. One of the students told us that he considers that this moved proved that they are not “guerrillas that need to be feared, but understanding people who know how to evaluate when and how to compromise”.

To make sure the students at the faculty are not standing around doing nothing all day, various forums are being held, and educational films from all areas are being shown.
