DOWNTOWN ZAGREB
MARCH 22 2009 13:02h
Despite the cold and wind, Zagreb’s girls went for a walk downtown. Good thing they did. How else would we know it was a new season?
ZAGREB, CROATIA - What to wear for a walk downtown, is the question every trendy girl probably asked herself today. Even though Spring arrived on Friday, the weather has not calmed down yet, and uncomfortable winds and the occasional snowflake rushed around the city.
The more open minded girls decided to put on leather jackets, whilst those more afraid of the cold did not give up their winter coats and boots. Even though they were wearing winter/spring combinations, they showed that they know how to stress their beauty even during colder weather.
With black leather jackets, the added colourful scarf really “lifts” the combination. Purple details are still in, and tones of brown and beige are popular when their fashion combinations are in question.
Downtown Cvjetni Square
There was no lack of colour at Cvjetni Square. Unlike Tkalciceva Street, the girls came out of their beige colours. What we noticed was their wide variety of bag colours: green bags, white bags, multicoloured bags…
There is only on rule for bags – they are either huge or tiny.
The girls at Cvjetni Square had the additional edge, because often they were holding flowers in their hands, which additionally leaves a good impression.
However, they are at a place where flowers are sold.
Besides various colours, Cvjetni Square was full of beauties whose fashion combinations were completed with fur details around the neck or on the sleeves, in white, black or brown.
Also, for both downtown hotspots the same rule applies – Zagreb’s girls are the most beautiful in the world. The only question left to ask is – in which part of town are they “better”?
Take a look for yourself in the photo galleries and judge for yourself: Downtown Zagreb - Tkalciceva Street and Downtown Zagreb – Cvjetni Square.
