ZAGREB BATHED IN SUN
JUNE 7 2009 12:55h
As the warm sun’s rays heated the city, Zagreb’s Downtowners got out of their homes and enjoyed the sun in their best clothing combinations.
ZAGREB, CROATIA – This week’s first warm day had such an effect on the citizens of Zagreb that the city’s downtown was filled with people who smiled, relieved that there was finally no more rain.
Proudly showing off attributes in light dresses
Light dresses that swung in the breeze and revealed just enough to tickle the imaginations of passers-by were a must have in Zagreb on Saturday. Who would resist sitting at home when all you needed to look perfect in the city’s centre was a light dress, sandals and, of course, sunglasses.
Some girls looked up at the sun happily, looking forward to even warmer days that are yet to come, while some, aware of the attention of the men they are attracting, proudly showed off all of their attributes and confidently walked towards our photographer.
The must haves of the season
The ultimately fashion aware Downtowners turned up in short dresses and light boots this year, as if they are trying to push sandals, flip-flops and the standard summer shoes out of fashion.
Turkish pants which have returned to the fashion scene in full style were worn by many Downtowners on Saturday because, well, let’s face it, who would resist the soft touch of airy fabric on their bodies.
