Text

Photo

The veteran Robert Kralj crashed into the door of the Croatian parliament last Monday. Now his car has been returned.

Robert Kralj, who purposely crashed his Yugo 45 car in the door of the Croatian parliament last Monday, was given back his car.

Kralj is a 34 year old war veteran who war because the state does not recognize his status as a war military invalid.

The driver of the car, claim witnesses, drove a circle around the parliament, flew past the cabinet’s building, where the police tried to stop him, and rammed directly into the parliament and broke the door.

The last straw

He was medically treated at the Vrapce psychiatric hospital with the diagnosis of PTSD. The straw that broke that camel’s back was, as he said, when the head of Zagreb’s healthcare Zvonimir Sostar said that he does not have time for him.

Besides not regretting crashing into parliament, Kralj announced that he will file a suit against the state at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. He also showed the will to testify against Croatia in the Hague court, because, as he says, for the aggression that Croatia committed in Bosnia Herzegovina.

Take a look at how Robert Kralj received his car back in the photo gallery: Robert Kralj, and the Car That Crashed Into Parliament.
